John McClure 
John was born in 1724 in Raphoe,County Donegal,Ireland.1 John's father was Halbert McClure and his mother was UNKNOWN Agnes. His paternal grandfather was James Andrew McClure. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Moses, Nathaniel, Alexander and Hannah. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 54 in 1778 in ,Botetourt,VA.1 
John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony in 1747. They had seven sons and five daughters, named Samuel, Alexander, Malcolm, Halbert, Moses, Nathaniel, John, Mary, Agnes, Jennet, Hannah and Rebecca.
