Alexander McClure 
Alexander was born in 1716 in Raphoe,County Donegal,Ireland.1 Alexander's father was Halbert McClure and his mother was UNKNOWN Agnes. His paternal grandfather was James Andrew McClure. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Moses, Nathaniel, John and Hannah. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on February 1st, 1790 in ,Rockbridge,VA.
‌Alexander and Martha were married in a religious ceremony in ,Augusta,VA. They had six sons and two daughters, named Halbert, James, Nathaniel, Alexander, Samuel, John, Susannah and Martha.
