William McClung 
William was born in 1807. William's father was Joseph McClung and his mother was Jane Cavenndish. His paternal grandparents were William McClung and Abigail Dickinson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Andrew Cavendish, Jacob, Joseph, Abigail, Nancy, Jane and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children.General Notes

In his absence, his house burned and his wife and four children froze to death before the morning. In his grief he contemplated suicide. He went to a nearby thicket to pray and found peace and the strength to go on.
William and Abigail were married in a religious ceremony on November 18th, 1832. They had a son and a daughter, and also two children of unknown gender, named George, Jane, Unknown and Unknown.
William and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony in 1843. They had seven sons and two daughters, named Tiery, Robert, Templeton, Floyd, Joseph Edgar, Stuart, Franklin, Unknown and Rebecca.
