John McAfee

John was born about 1819. John's father was Francis McAfee and his mother was Anna Ames. His maternal grandparents were Jabez Ames and Elizabeth Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Dorsey, Thomas, Gifford, Archibald, Ellen, Margaret and Ann L. He was the oldest of the eight children.
