He had six brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin J, Roy E, Lester Vernon, Henry Carl, Walter Warn, Joe Addsion, Bertha Mabel and Florence E. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 51 on August 8th, 1959 in ,Warren IA.-
