Jared was born on October 9th, 1792 in Morgantown,Monogolia,WVa. Jared's father was Caspar Michael and his mother was Johanna FOX (FUCHS). His paternal grandparents were Henry MICHAEL and Christina KARGAS; his maternal grandparents were Jacob FUCHS and Eva Catharina REISS. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Phillip, Jacob, Henry, Caspar, Eli, John, Catherine, Ann and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on October 26th, 1873 in ,Linn,OR.-
