Caspar was born in 1802 in ,Monogalia,WVa. Caspar's father was Caspar Michael and his mother was Johanna FOX (FUCHS). His paternal grandparents were Henry MICHAEL and Christina KARGAS; his maternal grandparents were Jacob FUCHS and Eva Catharina REISS. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Phillip, Jared, Jacob, Henry, Eli, John, Catherine, Ann and Hannah. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
