Gideon Jr Hurlbut 
Gideon Jr was born on August 20th, 1755 in Haddam,Middlesex Co,Connecticut.1 Gideon Jr's father was Gideon Hurlbut and his mother was Deborah Brainerd. His paternal grandparents were David Hurlbut and Mercy UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Abijah Brainerd and Esther Smith. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Jonathan, Jonathan, Reuben, Timothy, Abijah, Jessie, Joseph, Reuben, Dorcas, Phebe, Deborah and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 79 on June 26th, 1835 in Green Co,New York. He was buried in Teator Road Cemetery,Green Co,New York.General Notes
BIOGRAPHY: From RootsWeb, Greene Co, NY, Pensioners 1835 - Gideon Hulburt, Private in the New York Militia, received an annual allowance of $46.66 effective March 4, 1831, was granted the pension on November 6, 1833 at the age of 78.
