Lory Thomas Hankins

Lory Thomas was born on July 1st, 1879 in KY.  Lory Thomas' father was Joshua Tipton Hankins and his mother was Phoebe Jane Glenn.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph HANKINS and Catherine ROGERS; his maternal grandparents were Joseph B. Glenn and Elizabeth Graham. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Berry, Elijah Joseph, Martin Van Buren, John William, Gabriel Ginn, Elizabeth Katherine, Lucy Ann, Mary Frances (Molly), Alice Mae, Minnie Olive and Nora Dell.  He was the second youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 62 on November 22nd, 1941 in Richland Twp,Rush,IN.  He was buried on November 24th, 1941 in Richland Twp,Rush,IN.

‌Lory Thomas and Leora were married in a religious ceremony on June 8th, 1898 in Decatur,IN.  They had six sons and five daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named William Edgar, Colver Thomas, Johnnie H., Robert Raymond, Harold Francis, Paul Leonard, Esther Belle, Goldie Bernice, Lyla Mae, Mary Avis, Opal Deloris and UNKNOWN.

They had four sons and two daughters, named Living, Living, Living, Living, Mary Kathryn and Living.
