Martin Van Buren HANKINS

Martin Van Buren was born on December 28th, 1867 in Switzerland,IN.  Martin Van Buren's father was Joshua Tipton Hankins and his mother was Phoebe Jane Glenn.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph HANKINS and Catherine ROGERS; his maternal grandparents were Joseph B. Glenn and Elizabeth Graham. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Berry, Elijah Joseph, John William, Gabriel Ginn, Lory Thomas, Elizabeth Katherine, Lucy Ann, Mary Frances (Molly), Alice Mae, Minnie Olive and Nora Dell.  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 73 on July 21st, 1941.  He was buried in Richland  Cemetery,Rush Co.

‌Martin Van Buren and Theo B were married in a religious ceremony on June 14th, 1897 in Decatur,IN.  They had a daughter, and also two children of unknown gender named Lois, UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN.
