William R was born on February 4th, 1823 in ,,IN. William R's father was Thomas J Gwin and his mother was Jane Oram. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gwin and Sarah Morris; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Oram and UNKNOWN Mary. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, David, Samuel, Issac Marion, Mary, Sarah, Matilda and Margaret C. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 64 on March 10th, 1887. He was buried in Riverhill Cemetery,Owen,In.-
