William Burks

William was born about 1821.  William's father was John Burks and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary.  His paternal grandparents were Edmund Burks and Elizabeth Everly. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Alfred, Rhoda, Mary A, Minerva, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the nine children.
