Edmund Burks 
Edmund was born about 1780. Edmund's father was John Burks and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary. His paternal grandparents were Richard Burks and UNKNOWN Elizabeth. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Ricahrd, Floyd, Malinda, Edith, Ann, Elizabeth, Mary and Drucilla. He was the oldest of the ten children.
They had seven sons and a daughter, named John, William, James, David, Joel, Henry, Edmund and Catherine.

John was born in 1801. He died at the age of 84 in 1885 in ,Monroe,In. He was buried in Richland Cemetery.
