Engelbert of Inngau

Engelbert of was born in 1011. Engelbert of's father was Count Engelbert III of Chiemgau and his mother was Princess Adela of Bavaria. His paternal grandparents were Count Sieghard IV of Chiemgau and Princess Willa of Chiemgau; his maternal grandfather was Count Hartwich I of Bavaria. He had four brothers named Count Sieghard VIII of, Bishop Hartwig of, Count Engelbert IV of and Count Friedrich of. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 36 in 1047.¹
