John Melvin Zike 
John Melvin was born on May 3rd, 1863. John Melvin's father was Samuel William Zike and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Moore. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Zike and Mary Dianna Baugh. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Josephus G., Jacob E., William Luther, Samuel Arthur, Litna Everett, Charlie, Emma, Mary E., Ida and Ora Jane. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 in 1945.-
