Ida was born on March 11th, 1870. Ida's father was Samuel William Zike and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Zike and Mary Dianna Baugh. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Josephus G., John Melvin, Jacob E., William Luther, Samuel Arthur, Litna Everett, Charlie, Emma, Mary E. and Ora Jane. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.General Notes
