John Zike 
John was born in 1846 in Morgan County, Indiana. John's father was David Zike and his mother was Mildred Jane Haggard. His paternal grandparents were John Zike and Susannah Smith. He had five brothers named James, Harvey, William E., Allen and Charles Lewis. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 56 on February 16th, 1902 in Cumberland County, Illinois. He was buried in Drummond Cemetery, Cumberland County, Illinois.-
