William Harvey was born in 1875 in Illinois. William Harvey's father was John Zike and his mother was Barbara A. Campbell. His paternal grandparents were David Zike and Mildred Jane Haggard; his maternal grandparents were Jackson Campbell and Anna Wallingsford. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Gilkey, Franklin Pierce, Charley, Sidney R., Millie Lavada, Mary and Mina. He died in Cumberland County, Illinois. He was buried in Drummond Cemetery, Cumberland County, Illinois.-
