James Otis Stewart 
James Otis was born on November 27th, 1940 in Monroe Co., Indiana. James Otis' father was Frank Lester Stewart and his mother was Eva Doris Eads. His paternal grandparents were Otis Stewart and Stella Hillenburg; his maternal grandparents were Cecil Eads and Dollie Deckard. He had a brother and a sister, named Living and Brenda Lou. He died at the age of 18 on July 21st, 1959 in Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
James Otis Stewart, 18, died Tuesday night in the Robert Long Hospital in
Indianapolis from complications after an appendectomy. He lived on R. 8
and was employed at a grocery store.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Stewart, R. 8;
a sister, Brenda Lou, 12, and a brother, Jerry Wayne, 6, at home and
grandparents, Mrs. Stella Hawkins, R. 9, and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Eads, R.
8.
A great grandfather, John P. Eads, R. 8, and several aunts and
uncles also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Handy
Pentecostal Church, which he attended. Rev. John Hayse and Rev. Harold
Asher will officiate, and burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
The body will be taken from the Greene and Harrell Funeral Home to
the residence, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
