Bertha Ellen Palmer 
Bertha Ellen was born on April 17th, 1882 in Bloomington, Indiana. Bertha Ellen's father was George Wilson Palmer and her mother was Sarah "Sallie" Kelley. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Phene Palmer and Obedience "Biddy" Hunter; her maternal grandparents were Richard E. Kelley and Nancy Jane Butcher. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Arthur Palmer, Robert P., Joseph Richard, Annie and Epsie. She was the second oldest of the six children.-
