James Ranson, Jr McGlothlin 
James Ranson, Jr was born on September 3rd, 1910 in Indianapolis, Monroe Co., Indiana. James Ranson, Jr's father was James Ranson McGlothlin and his mother was Jeanette 'Nettie' Owens. His paternal grandparents were John G. McGlothlin and Lucindia Zike; his maternal grandparents were Lilburn Owens and Mary 'Pop' Duncan. He had a brother and four sisters, named Robert, Bertha Rachel, Bretta Gladys, Alma and Celestia Lorena. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 64 in September 1974 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. He was buried in Harrodsburg Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.-
