General Notes
1860 census, living with son, Marshal (as spelled on census), and his
family in Bedford. See notes on Marshall.
A search on FamilySearch on the LDS web site, gave her name as Anna
Adams, and John (Little) Owens as the parents of Sarah Owens that married
Sidney O'Dell. This same site had Sarah married to Alex Burton after
Sidney died. On the 1860 census Marion Twp., Mitchell p.o., Lawrence Co.,
In., listed:
Alex Burton, 35 yrs old, farmer, $4,700 real estate, $1500 personal, NC.
There were two other Alex Burtons, but I think this is the one.
They had five sons and four daughters, named Lilburn, Sidney Owens, Marshall, Owen, Zeba, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary and Rosanna.

Lilburn Owens
Lilburn was born on February 5th, 1818 in Lawrence County, Indiana. He died at the age of 87 on December 1st, 1905 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana. He was buried in Emanuel Hatfield Cemetery, Jackson Twp, Green Co, Indiana.
Marshall Owens
Marshall was born on May 10th, 1831 in Indiana. He died at the age of 43 on December 19th, 1874 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana. He was buried in Emanuel Hatfield Cemetery, Jackson Twp, Green Co, Indiana.
