His paternal grandparents were Thomas Masterson and Katherine (Cecily) Clere; his maternal grandfather was Alexander Roche. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Richard, Henry and Margaret. He had a half-brother named Robert. He died before May 31st, 1624.General Notes
