Perry Joe Hollars 
Perry Joe was born on December 4th, 1942 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Perry Joe's father was Walter George "Bubbie" Hollars and his mother was Dorotha Deckard. His paternal grandparents were John William Hollars and Eva Jane Deckard; his maternal grandparents were Leander Lee Deckard and Lavesta Smith. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Living, Living, Phylis Mae, Living, Living, Living, Living and Living. He died at the age of 22 on May 23rd, 1965 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana. He was buried in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
ACCIDENT INJURIES TAKE LIFE
Perry Joe Hollers, 21, Nicholson's Trailer Park, S. Rogers, died at
6:45 p.m. Saturday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
The accident happened when the cycle ridden by Hollars went off the
road.
He suffered back injuries and a broken neck April 25 when he crashed
off Rush Ridge Rd.
He was a plant worker for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company here. He
was born Dec. 4, 1942 in Monroe County to Walter and Dortha Deckard
Hollers.
He leaves his wife, Leona; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Walter Hollers
of Heltonville; sisters, Miss Clona Hollers of Heltonville, Mrs. Patsy
Sipes of Bloomington, Miss Sarah Hollers, Miss Mary Hollars and Miss Nina
Hollers, all of Heltonville; two brothers, David and Larry, both of
Heltonville; grandparents, Mrs. Eva Hollers of R. 1, Heltonville, and Mrs
Levesta Deckard of Heltonville.
Funeral will be 10;30 a.m. Tuesday at Greene & Harrell Funeral Home
Chapel, burial in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Rev. C. T. Dembo will
officiate.
Pallbearers will be Noble Hawkins, Kenneth Deckard, Gary Deckard,
Billy Hollers, Buddy Miller and Virgil Johnson.
Flowerbearers will be Karen Robinson, Joyce Robinson, Cozetta Eads,
Peggy Chambers, Sherry Deckard and Rose Deckard. Friends may call at the
