Clovis Lester was born on August 31st, 1912. Clovis Lester's father was William Perry Glascoe and his mother was Josephine Olga Clark. His paternal grandparents were John William Glascoe and Catherine Katy Deckard; his maternal grandparents were Dorson Clark and Clara Combs. He had three sisters named Irenia Marie, Ruby Eleanor and Helen Laverne. He was the oldest of the four children.-
