Damon Clifford was born on May 26th, 1905 in Monroe County, Indiana. Damon Clifford's father was George Franklin Floyd and his mother was Mamie Alma Shields. His paternal grandparents were John Matthew Floyd and Anis Smith; his maternal grandparents were James Madison Shields and Mary Jane Heltonburg. He had two brothers and a sister, named John Madison, ? and Mary Anis. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 on August 24th, 1964 in Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon. He was buried on August 26th, 1964 in Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon.-
