Ivory V. was born on May 2nd, 1890 in Monroe County, Indiana. Ivory V.'s father was Living Butcher and his mother was Martha Musser. His paternal grandparents were James H. Jr. Butcher and Living Shields. He was an only child. He died at the age of 59 on October 15th, 1949 in Kentucky. He was buried in Mt. Ebal Cemetery, Clear Creek Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana.-
