David Hicks 
David was born on April 18th, 1850 in Gilmer Co,WV. David's father was Steven David (Stephenson B (?)) Hicks and his mother was Christina Barnhouse. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Stephen Hicks and Margaret Boggs; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Barnhouse and Mary McCune. He had three sisters named Lora Jane, Mary Ellen and Sarah J.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 74 on April 18th, 1924.-
