Cynthia Ann was born on December 25th, 1906. Cynthia Ann's father was Stephen Perry Hicks and her mother was Louisa Truman. Her paternal grandparents were David Hicks and Diana Jarvis. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Hurshel, Hugh Crawford, Harley Creed, David, Truman, Hensley Roscoe, Arretha B. and Mary Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
