May Pearl was born on April 4th, 1883 in La Porte,Indiana. May Pearl's father was Orlando Mayne Harrington and her mother was Amanda Mahala Ray. Her paternal grandparents were Henry B Harrington and Rosilla Ann Bentley; her maternal grandfather was Henry Ray. She had two sisters named Rose and G.G.. She was the oldest of the three children.
