Roxalena E. was born about 1840 in VA. Roxalena E.'s father was Ahas Hix Sr and her mother was Rebecca Latheman. Her paternal grandparents were David Hix and Mildred Huddleston. She had three brothers and a sister, named James Bradford, Ahas A., Wellington Benton and Emeline. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died before 1900.-
