Mary was born on February 19th, 1769 in Goochland County,Virginia and her baptism took place there on February 19th, 1769.1 Mary's father was William Right Clements Jr and her mother was Isabella Hilliard. Her paternal grandparents were William Right , Sr. Clements and Elizabeth ???; her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Hilliard and Unknown ???. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, George, Johnathon Hillard, William III, Bartlett, James, Jesses, Elizabeth, Keziah and Isabella.
