Sir Francis COMPTON 
Francis was born about 1631 in Compton,Warwick and his baptism took place in son,Earl,Northampton,England. Francis' father was Spencer COMPTON Earl 2nd Northampton and his mother was Mary Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were William COMPTON Baron 2nd, Earl Northampton 1st and Elizabeth Spencer; his maternal grandfather was Francis Beaumont. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Infant Charles, Charles, Henry, Spencer, Henry, Anne and Penelope. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.-
