William Allen BARKER OR WELCH 
William Allen was born on March 14th, 1796 in Amherst,Va. William Allen's father was Jacob BARKER OR WELCH and his mother was Frances Susan GARNER. His paternal grandparents were James BARKER and Mary SMITH; his maternal grandfather was Joseph GARNER. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, Joseph, Anderson, Susan, Dicy and Nancy. He died at the age of 40 on February 14th, 1837 in ,Giles,Virginia.-
