Matheus was born on April 18th, 1745 in Lancaster,PA.  Matheus' father was Hans Matheus Jung (Young) and his mother was Anna Margarete Feyin.  His paternal grandparents were Johannes Jung (Young) and Maria ?; his maternal grandparents were Conrad Fey and Lysbeth Muller. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Conrad, Johann Jacob, Anna Christine, Catherine Elizabeth, Mariah Christina and Mary.  He died in 1745 in Lancaster,PA.
