Johann Jacob was born on November 27th, 1737 in Lancaster,Pennsylvania.  Johann Jacob's father was Hans Matheus Jung (Young) and his mother was Anna Margarete Feyin.  His paternal grandparents were Johannes Jung (Young) and Maria ?; his maternal grandparents were Conrad Fey and Lysbeth Muller. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Conrad, Matheus, Anna Christine, Catherine Elizabeth, Mariah Christina and Mary.  He died at the age of 59 on April 25th, 1797 in Lancaster,Pennsylvania.
