Living Varner 
Living's father was Sylvester Elsworth Varner and his mother was Alma Henrietta Barnett. His paternal grandparents were John Nelson Varner and Mary "Libby" Elizabeth Cress; his maternal grandparents were James Barnett and Dicy Caldonia Bostick. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ancil Dee, Living, Living, Living and Living. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Archibald Sylvester, Lewis Raymond and Living.-
