Doyle Ancil was born on April 1st, 1914 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas.1 Doyle Ancil's father was Ancil Davis Varner and his mother was Allis Oldfield. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Varner and Nancy Emily Fitzgarrald; his maternal grandparents were William Henry Oldfield and Sarah Twigg. He had a brother and two sisters, named Howard Oldfield, Lucille and Living. He died at the age of 67 on May 6th, 1981 in Duarte, LA Co, CA. He was buried in Rose Hills, Whittier CA.1 1 -
