Gilbert Sisson 
Gilbert was born in 1730.1 Gilbert's father was George Sisson and his mother was Lydia Cole. His paternal grandparents were George Sisson and Sarah Lawton. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, John, Gideon, Mercy Cole and Lydia. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George, James, Elizabeth, Jane, Mary and Hopestill.-
