Nina Jane was born on December 31st, 1898.1 Nina Jane's father was Lorenzo Dow Markin and her mother was Rachel Jane Jessup. Her paternal grandparents were John Wesley Markin and Martha Mary Emily Glandon; her maternal grandparents were William Jessop and Sarah Keith. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Lewis Levi, Charles Elmer, Living, Della Elizabeth, Pearl, Living, Living and Living.-
