Lewis Levi was born on May 15th, 1893.1 Lewis Levi's father was Lorenzo Dow Markin and his mother was Rachel Jane Jessup. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Markin and Martha Mary Emily Glandon; his maternal grandparents were William Jessop and Sarah Keith. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Charles Elmer, Living, Della Elizabeth, Nina Jane, Pearl, Living, Living and Living.-
