Lucinda Markin

Lucinda was born on March 31st, 1838 in lawrence County, Ohio.¹   Lucinda's father was Charles W II Markin and her mother was Eunice Gilkerson.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; her maternal grandfather was John Gilkerson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Cornelius, Franklin, James F, Melinda, Eliza, Daniel D and Mary Jane. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles, Benjamin R, Thomas B, Thomas, Catherine, Laura Ann and Susan.  She died at the age of 45 on March 31st, 1883.¹ 

They had two sons and a daughter, named Jr. Jacks, Jay Willard and Martha.
