Cornelius Markin

Cornelius was born in 1834.¹   Cornelius' father was Charles W II Markin and his mother was Eunice Gilkerson.  His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; his maternal grandfather was John Gilkerson. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Franklin, James F, Melinda, Lucinda, Eliza, Daniel D and Mary Jane. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles, Benjamin R, Thomas B, Thomas, Catherine, Laura Ann and Susan.
