Presley Nelms Howell

Presley Nelms was born in February 1835.¹   Presley Nelms' father was Abner Y Howell and his mother was Phoebe D Ingram.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Ingram and Jemima Louise Watkins. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas J, Samuel P, William Rufus, Brackett Owen, Winifred Eugenia, Eliza N, Rebecca Helen, Margaret A "Maggie", Emma Dean and J Alice.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.
