Brackett Owen Howell

Brackett Owen was born on February 23rd, 1840.¹   Brackett Owen's father was Abner Y Howell and his mother was Phoebe D Ingram.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Ingram and Jemima Louise Watkins. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas J, Samuel P, Presley Nelms, William Rufus, Winifred Eugenia, Eliza N, Rebecca Helen, Margaret A "Maggie", Emma Dean and J Alice.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
