R A was born on May 31st, 1915.1 R A's father was Odie Artemus Floyd and his mother was Fairy Kathleen Beaty. His paternal grandparents were James Harrison Floyd and Ella America Lunsford; his maternal grandparents were Robert Abraham Beaty and Alice Isabelle Hood. He had a brother and a sister, named Living and Living. He died at the age of 67 in July 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was buried in Dallas.1 1 General Notes
