Ella America Lunsford 
Ella America was born on September 1st, 1876.1 Ella America's father was A. Lunsford and her mother was Betty Taylor. She had a brother and three sisters, named Willie Lee, Betty, Dee and Maude M. She died at the age of 76 on October 24th, 1952 in Sharp Cemetery, Yantis, TX.1 General Notes

Ellas father was a school teacher.
Betty's husband died at an early age leaving her with small children. James Harrison Floyd w ent to live with his Aunt to help her. This is the way Ella and James began to take notice o f one another. The families didn't seem to care or to be concerned that they were first cous ins. The Lunsford family lived west of Yantis Texas toward Albe, Texas. Betty was married t he first time to a Taylor. Had one child. That child and her husband both died. She then m married Walter Floyd.
Ella America and James Harrison were married in a religious ceremony on June 3rd, 1891 in Wood County, Texas.1 They had two sons and four daughters, named Odie Artemus, Charlie James B (Bo), Lillian B, Mattie Maude, Living and Tempie.
