Matilda Elder 
Matilda was born in 1840.1 Matilda's father was James Elder and her mother was Sarah Rinard. Her maternal grandparents were Isaac Rinard and Mary Young. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John E, James, Thomas, Henry, Margaret, Elisabeth, Mary, Hester A, Sarah and Isabella. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.
