John E Elder 
John E was born in 1816.1 John E's father was James Elder and his mother was Sarah Rinard. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Rinard and Mary Young. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named James, Thomas, Henry, Margaret, Elisabeth, Mary, Hester A, Sarah, Matilda and Isabella. He was the oldest of the eleven children.
