Louisa was born in 1824.1 Louisa's father was Adam Young and her mother was Eleanor Hilton. Her maternal grandparents were John Hilton and Margaret Ferrill. She had four sisters named Julia Ann, Susannah, Miriah and Susan E.. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
